The purpose of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Prayer Cenacle Apostolate is to know and love our Heavenly Mother...to learn to live with her in our heart every moment, and to allow her to form our hearts for union with God. 

The word Cenacle is derived from the room in which the Last Supper was held. After the death of Jesus the Blessed Mother, apostles and disciples remained in continuous Cenacle as Jesus asked them to do: waiting in faith, waiting for the promised visit by the Holy Spirit, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.  After nine days, their prayers and adoration brought down upon them the transforming gift of Pentecost. 

Today we have the same opportunity to pray in the spirit of the Upper Room with our Blessed Mother so that we may live this personal relationship and receive the transforming gift of a new Pentecost.
